Warriors scald Bulldogs

With their latest 49-0 victory over the Harem Bulldogs, the Jefferson County High School Warriors are now 7-0 for the season and 4-0 in region play.
In the last four weeks alone Coach JB Arnold’s Warriors have averaged 483.5 yards of offense per game while their opponents have averaged only 167.
The Warriors scored on their first six possessions and were leading 41-0 late in the third quarter when a fumble by the third string sophomore quarterback put the ball back in the Bulldogs hands. But two plays later junior Tray Thomas picked off a pass and returned it 18 yards for the Warriors’ final touchdown of the night. 
In all, the Warriors earned 220 yards passing and 298 yards rushing Friday and averaged 10.8 yards per play.
Senior quarterback CJ Hales completed six passes for 100 yards and 1 TD and rushed five times for 92 yards. Junior QB Jaden Jenkins completed four passes for 92 yards and had five carries for 46 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore QB Carlton Brown connected on four passes for 28 yards. 
Ty King caught five passes for 119 yards and a TD. JaDarius Hector caught three for 53 yards. Nikel Stone had four carries for 47 yards and TD and caught two passes for 20 yards. Desmond Beale had three carries for 30 yards. Clin Tucker had two carries for 36 yards and two TDs. Izaiah Gaines had two rushes for 30 yards and caught two passes for six yards. Markel Bonner and had two carries for 17 yards and a touchdown and Tramaine Shields caught a pass for six yards. 
Senior kicker Evans Hodges hit all seven of his PATs and had three touchbacks, averaging 54.3 yards on his eight kickoffs.  
This Friday the Warriors will travel to Augusta to take on the 2-4 Butler Bulldogs.
