Jaguars lose tough game to Crusaders

Special Report
The Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars suffered a tough 44-6 loss to Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s Crusaders last week.
Senior quarterback Zach Douglas completed five of 11 passes for 64 yards while Dawson Gardner complete two of three for 19 yards.
Warthen Evans caught three passes for 35 yards, Justin Fletcher, two for 29, Douglas one for 10 and Tucker Purvis one for 9.
The Crusader defense effectively shut down the Jaguar running game.
This Friday the Jaguars will look to improve their record as they host Bulloch Academy at 7:30 in Louisville.
“This is not Bulloch’s typical team,” Coach Matt Otis said. “They have started throwing the ball a lot more as opposed to sticking with the straight option. They are also not as big as we have seen  in the past.”
