Letter: Concerns about the eclipse and eye protection

Dear Editor:
The highly anticipated  and anxiously awaited solar eclipse (Sun, moon and Planet Earth all three align) that will occur August 21, 2017 brings with it a number of conditions that should be carefully addressed and discussed with your families, friends and others. The biggest concern by far, in my opinion, is that watching the eclipse without proper protection can result in blindness. Please take all precautions, especially with children, seniors and others that may not be capable of protecting themselves. This info should be shared with everyone.
