Advertisement for Bid for Construction of Louisville Sidewalk Intersection Improvements for City of Louisville, Georgia
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Louisville at the Louisville City Hall located at 1011 Peachtree Street, Louisville, Georgia 30434, until 2:00 on Thursday, May 7, 2015 for the construction of Louisville Sidewalk Intersection Improvements in the City of Louisville, Jefferson County, Georgia. Bids received after the designated time will not be accepted. All bids must be originals; no bond copies, facsimile copies, or electronic copies will be accepted. No bidder may withdraw her/his bid within sixty-days (60) after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and any technicalities, and to reject any or all bids.

The project generally includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the construction and related improvements for the Louisville Sidewalk Intersection Improvements. The project is located at the following intersections: 7th Street and Walnut Street, 7th Street and Mulberry Street, 8th Street and Walnut Street, and 8th Street and Mulberry Street. This project will consist of, but is not limited to, erosion control, demolition of the existing pavement, utility relocation coordination, maintenance of traffic, grading, excavation, subgrade preparation, and construction and installation of sidewalks, ramps, and curbing.

The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the City of Louisville, and shall complete the work within 60 consecutive calendar days from and including said date.
