Optimists thank law enforcement/community

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Wrens-North Jefferson Optimist Club I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the support of the Jefferson County community in our effort to acknowledge the work and dedication of law enforcement personnel of the CSRA.

Our annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet was a huge success thanks to the unselfish contributions of many of our local businesses, individual business owners and especially our co-sponsors, First State Bank and the City of Wrens.

We would also like to thank Wrens Middle School Principal Julia Wells and her staff for providing a wonderful venue for this event. There were approximately 140 agents from every agency in the area in attendance.

Again, thank you, Jefferson County for your support as we work to make a positive impact in our communities.
