Said property is a portion of a 253 acre tract of land conveyed by the following deeds: A deed dated December 2, 1924 from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company as Attorney in Fact for John R. Rachels to John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company which is recorded in Jefferson County Records in Deed Book SS, page 290. A Warranty Deed dated July 8, 1946 from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company to C.G. Pollett which is recorded in Jefferson County Records in Deed book 3J, page 199.

Charles G. Pollett, Sr. a/k/a C.G. Pollett died a resident of Jefferson County Georgia on January 3, 1969. The Last Will and Testament of Charles G. Pollett, Sr. was probated in Jefferson County Probate Court on January 16, 1969 and is recorded in Jefferson County Probate Court Will Book F, pages 241-243. Charles G. Pollett Sr., bequeathed and devised said 251 acres to Mattie Mae S. Pollett for her lifetime with remainder after her death to Virginia P. Brewton, a one-third undivided share; Charles G. Pollett III and Cheryl Pollet a one-third undivided share and William A. Pollett a one-third undivided share. Mattie Mae S. Pollett is deceased.

Cheryl Pollett Arrington and Charles G. Pollett II conveyed their undivided interest in said 253 acres to William A. Pollett by a Warranty Deed dated May 11, 1998 which is recorded in Jefferson County Records in Deed Book 246, pages 473-475.

The Interest of Ann. P Brewton in said property was conveyed by her heirs at law B.E. Brewton, Ann Brewton Usher; Sharon Brewton Urban and David Brewton to Ann C. Pollett and William A. Pollett by a Quit Claim Deed dated October 19, 1998 which is recorded in Jefferson County Records in Deed Book 251, pages 455-456.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS for the CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA CDBG NO. 11p-x-081-2-5379 Sealed proposals will be received by CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA at City Hall, P.O. Work to be done: The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of: Sewerage system rehabilitation including approximately 2,552 linear feet of 10 inch and 545 linear feet of 8-inch cured in place pipe liner, dig and replace 369 linear feet of 8-inch sewer pipe, replace 55 existing services with new PVC from the main to the house, install one new manhole, rehabilitate 19 existing manholes, and all appurtenances. Time allotted for this work is 180 consecutive calendar days. Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on. The work to be performed under this contract is on a project assisted under a program providing direct Federal financial assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701 U. Section 3 requires that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for employment and training be given to the low income residents of the project area and contracts for work in connection with the project to be awarded to business concerns which are located in, or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the area of the project.
