ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS ADDITIONS TO THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT for the CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA

Sealed proposals will be received by CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA at the City Hall, P.O. Box 219 or 21 North Main Street, Wadley, Georgia 30477 (only shipping packages are received at street address) until 10:00 A.M. local time, TUESDAY, MAY 29, 2012 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days.

All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractors License and must employ a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work.

Work to be done: The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of:

Additions to the water pollution control plant include construction of a chemical chlorine contact chamber, installation of chemical feed equipment, and appurtenances. Time allotted for this work is 90 consecutive calendar days.

Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on.

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to CITY OF WADLEY, GEORGIA as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.

STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF GLASCOCK NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER Because of a default in the payment of the indebtedness secured by a Security Deed executed by Steven Johnson and Marcia Johnson to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. as nominee for Home America Mortgage, Inc. dated August 14, 2002, and recorded in Deed Book 101, Page 366, Glascock County Records, said Security Deed having been last sold, assigned, transferred and conveyed to JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association by Assignment, securing a Note in the original principal amount of $84,000.00, the holder thereof pursuant to said Deed and Note thereby secured has declared the entire amount of said indebtedness due and payable and, pursuant to the power of sale contained in said Deed, will on the first Tuesday, June 5, 2012, during the legal hours of sale, before the Courthouse door in said County, sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, the property described in said Deed, to-wit: ALL that tract or parcel of land, with improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the 1168th District G.M. of Glascock County, Georgia, containing 8.0 acres, and being more particularly shown on Plat of Survey thereof prepared by T. Larry Rachels, R.L.S. No. 1730, dated December 4, 1989, copy of which is recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Glascock County, Georgia, in Plat record "3-Z", Page 100. Reference is hereby made to said plat for a more complete and accurate description as to the metes, bounds and location of said property. Also included is One 2003 32x80 Manufacturing Mobile Home, Manufacturing Serial Number GMHGA4250229330AB, attached to the above described property. Said property is known as 2617 Pine Road, Gibson, GA 30810, together with all fixtures and personal property attached to and constituting a part of said property, if any. Said property will be sold subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes (including taxes which are a lien, whether or not now due and payable), the right of redemption of any taxing authority, any matters which might be disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection of the property, any assessments, liens, encumbrances, zoning ordinances, restrictions, covenants, and matters of record superior to the Security Deed first set out above. The sale will be conducted subject (1) to confirmation that the sale is not prohibited under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and (2) to final confirmation and audit of the status of the loan with the holder of the security deed. Notice has been given of intention to collect attorney's fees in accordance with the terms of the Note secured by said Deed.
