Edward James thanked for community support

Dear Editor:

Its that time again. Our annual Christmas dinner for all senior citizens of Jefferson County will be held

Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Louisville Senior Citizens building. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jimmy McCullough with a solo by Bob Neal.

We, the concerned citizens of Jefferson County, would like to thank and acknowledge a man who always goes that extra mile to help the people in his community. Hes a man that never takes credit for the things he does. He has always sponsored the annual Christmas dinner for senior citizens. He always does food baskets for needy families around Christmas.

Hes a man that loves to help others and he does it so freely.

If you ask him he will say, I love people and I love helping them. Its from my heart.

So we, the concerned citizens of Jefferson County, would like to say thank you to Mr. Edward James of James Funeral Home for caring enough to make a difference. We love you.

Mr. James has been an inspiration and friend to all the Jefferson County senior citizens, for this we are very grateful and appreciative.

Theyre buying our votes

Dear Editor:

Republicans and democrats have spent more money than the government collects in all but two of the last 40 years. Why do they do it? Money buys votes. They spend your money in order to gain your favor in order to be re-elected. When your money is not enough they borrow more. They are now borrowing $38,000 every second. This works well for them. In every election since 1964 over 80 percent of House incumbents have been reelected.

You may continue to do things as you have in the past and hope for a miracle or you can make a difference by joining the revolution I found at www.GOOOH.com. GOOOH (pronounced Go) intends to challenge incumbents, in the primaries, with citizen representatives chosen by the members of their district. The future of the country is up to you and the time is now.
