EXHIBIT "A" NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
Under and by virtue of the Power of Sale contained in Deed to Secure Debt given by Tariq Q. Rasheed to First State Bank, dated January 16, 2007, as recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Jefferson County, Georgia, in Deed Book 416, at page 374, in the original principal amount of $31,507.82, which conveys the after-described property to secure a Promissory Note with interest at the rate specified therein there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the Courthouse door of Jefferson County, Georgia, within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in December, to wit: December 7, 2010, the following described property:

All that tract or parcel of land, together with all improvements thereon, lying and being in the City of Wadley, 83rd GM District of Jefferson County, Georgia, consisting of three lots being shown on the city of Wadley Tax Map as Lots 56, 57A, and 58B, fronting to the north on Butts Street; and being bounded now or formerly as follows: On the North by Butts Street; on the East by Lot 55 as shown on the Tax Map (now owned by Heggs), on the South of right-of-way of the Central of Georgia Railroad, on the West of land of Jackson (Lot 58, as shown on the Tax Map).

This being three adjacent lots, as described in the following three deeds:

1) Dated January 12, 1928 and recorded in Deed Book QQ, page 360 to Flory Turner;

2) Dated June 25, 1943 to Troy Roberson, recorded in Deed Book 75, at page 491;

3) Dated September 8, 1943 to Roman Roberson, recorded in Deed Book 3-B, page 491.

All three lots are contiguous and front on Butts Street. Reference in further made to Affidavits of Descent, dated May 23, 1979, recorded in Deed Book 125, beginning at page 518.

The above-described property is the same as that conveyed by Warranty Deed dated July, 1987 from Sarah Lee Walker, as Personal Representative of Roman Robinson and Florence Turner Estates to Tariq Q. Rasheed and being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Jefferson County, Georgia, in Deed Book 163, at page 504.

Said property is conveyed subject to any and all easements and restrictions of record.

The debt secured by said Deed to Secure Debt has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided in the Note and Deed to Secure Debt. The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, as provided in the Deed to Secure Debt and by law, including attorney's fees (notice of intent to collect attorney's fees having been given).

To the best knowledge and belief of the undersigned, the party (or parties) in possession of the subject property known as 174 Butts Street, Wadley, Georgia 30477 is: Tariq Rasheed, tenant or tenants.

Said property will be sold subject to (a) any outstanding ad valorem taxes (including taxes which are a lien, but not yet due and payable), (b) any matters which might be disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection of the property, and (c) all matters of record superior to the Deeds to Secure Debt first set out above, including, but not limited to, assessments, liens, encumbrances, zoning ordinances, easements, restrictions, covenants, etc.

This instrument establishes a perpetual or indefinite security interest in the above described property as authorized by OCGA 44-14-80(a), as amended. If all or any part of the property or any interest therein is sold, leased, or otherwise transferred by deed, land sales contract or any other means including the execution or enforcement of any lien, security interest or other right whether subordinate, superior or equal to this Security Deed without Grantee’s prior written consent, Grantee may, at Grantee’s option, declare all sums secured by this Security Deed to be immediately due and payable. STATE BOARD MEMBER TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING DECEMBER 2, 2010 Mr. Allen Rice to Host State Board of Education Twelfth Congressional District Public Hearing The State Board of Education will hold a public hearing for citizens in the Twelfth Congressional District on Thursday December 2, 2010. The meeting will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Vidalia Comprehensive High School, 1001 North Street West, Vidalia, GA 30474. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from citizens and educators regarding public education in the districts.
