LETTERS

The healthcare/immigration link

Dear Editor:

Fifteen million illegal aliens don’t qualify for public health insurance because they’re not Americans, but when they apply, they will be approved. No proof of citizenship required, no social security number necessary, no I.D., no proof of employment or income.

Ask and you shall receive. The American taxpayers will be happy to pay the bill; after all, everyone deserves healthcare.

“Healthcare reform,” the Democrats takeover of the health insurance industry has been delayed. Minor setback. Amnesty will be granted to millions of illegals, complete with a fast track to citizenship. An open border will allow millions more to enter. Don’t rule out statehood for Mexico and Cuba. Eventually, everyone will have healthcare and the more people included, the

cheaper it will become. The savings will be enormous.

The Democratic party will have millions of new members and one party rule will come to America for the next century or two, all thanks to “healthcare reform.”

Bill is attempt to take control

Dear Editor:

In Jesus’ name.

The #1 news item of late is the Health Care Reform Bill. At first I didn’t want it because it will cost our country so much money and put us into debt that we cannot possibly get out of. I am one of the non-insured and am making monthly payments on hospital and doctor bills as I write this letter, but I still don’t want this bill to be passed. The cost is just too great.

However, my reasoning for not wanting this bill passed, has gone beyond the expense for tax payers. I have become a little more informed about some of the details of this bill. A bill that our senators and congressmen apparently aren’t even reading.

Let me quote from a letter that Rick Joyner, the pastor of Morningstar Ministries in North Carolina sent out. “When I read the brief on what was contained in the National Health care bill that is now being presented before Congress, I could not believe I was reading something that was actually being considered in the United States of America. This is not about money or government mismanagement - this is about something far more diabolical than that. As incomprehensible as it may seem, this is about euthanasia, the power to determine who lives or dies in America. Hitler and Stalin would have loved to have had a means such as this for dispatching the millions they killed – it would have made their job much easier, and probably given them the ability to kill many more than they did. This bill is that sinister. This is not a joke – this is actually the nature of what is being proposed in the National Health Care legislation, and it is the obvious reason why the Obama Administration wants to ram it through Congress before anyone gets a chance to read it.”

Rick Joyner is not an alarmist and he always shows much grace to those with opposing views, so when I read something like this in his letter, I take it seriously. Along with the letter he posted, he attached a brief outline of the bill. I would be happy to e-mail this to anyone who would like to see it. You will be just as astounded as he and I are that something so wrong is being pushed into acceptance by our President. You can email me at jtatumhbc@yahoo.com to request the letter.

I believe the reason there has been somewhat of a delay in the passing of this bill, is the public outcry against it. You and I can make a difference if we make our voices heard. I am in the process of composing a letter that I will send to our leaders in Washington. I implore you to do the same; influencing as many people as you are able to also write letters, make phone calls, and pray.

Rather than being a compassionate bill to help the poor as it is being touted, this is a plan to take life and death decisions out of the hands of doctors and individuals and put it into the hands of bureaucrats. Personally, I think they are already making too many decisions for us. This is not one I am willing to hand over to them without a fight. Will you stand with me? Will you make the phone calls? Will you send the letters? Will you pray? And will you take this to the polls when it is time to elect or reelect these people who want to take our freedoms away? I sincerely hope and pray so!

Contact John Barrow

Dear Editor:

We all should contact Congressman John Barrow to let him know we really appreciate his holding firm against the president’s Health Care Reform bill. He and several others are so shocked by what this bill will do to Americans that they have formed the group referred to as “Blue Dog Democrats”. They are the only thing saving us at this time. I am a conservative but Mr. Barrow is currently serving as our savior from this Health Care bill disaster.

You can contact Mr. Barrow @ http://Barrow.House.gov or by phone @1-866-890-6236.

He could change his mind later on but as of now he is helping hold off this outlandish scheme that includes wording that Congress shall be exempt. No one, including Congress, is familiar with all the pitfalls included in Obama’s Health Care Reform bill. All of you need to get a copy and read page 425 of the bill and respond accordingly to Mr. Barrow.

On page 425 of Obama’s health care bill, the Federal Government will require everyone who is on Social Security to undergo a counciling session every 5 years with the objective being that they will explain to them just how to end their life earlier. You heard it correctly. Yes they are going to push SUICIDE to cut Medicare spending.
