Rodney O’Neal Butler,
Mr. Rodney O’Neal Butler,
28, of Bartow died Monday,
June 25,
2007.
Mr. Butler,
a native
of Johnson
County,
attended
Johnson
County
Schools and
was a member of Mt. Pleasant
Baptist Church.
The funeral was June 28
at 11 a.m. at the Community
Church of Jesus #2, Bartow.
Burial was in the church
cemetery.
Survivors include his
wife, Marquita Hall Butler;
his children, Keaira Smith,
Wrightsville, Rodnequeka
Butler and Rodtavious Merelle
of Oconee, Paul M. Daniels
III, Bartow; his father
and mother, Ernest Butler
and Christine Cason Butler,
Wrightsville; siblings, Kimberly
Butler, Daniel (Malika)
Butler, James (Sonya) Butler,
Christopher Butler and Ernest
Butler Jr., Wrightsville, Shedrick
(Demetia) Butler, Dublin;
his mother-in-law, Joe Ellen
Walker, Harrison; father-inlaw,
Eddie (Georgette) Dixon,
Warthen; and several other
relatives.
David Funeral Home,
Wrightsville, was in charge
of the arrangements.
Alfred Hunter Connally
Mr. Alfred Hunter Connally
of Mitchell died Wednesday,
June 27, 2007.
Mr. Connally, a native of
Ruskin, Fla., was the son of
the late Emory Connally and
the late Sarah McCorkle Connally.
He was a retired master
sargent from the US Air Force
with 21 years of service.
He
was the owner and operator of
the Five Points Store for over
20 years. He was a Baptist.
He is preceded in death by his
wife Geraldine Connally.
A memorial service was
held July 1 at 2 p.m. at Beggs
Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Theron Connally officiating.
Burial was in Little Brier
Creek Baptist Cemetery.
Survivors include his sons,
Chris Connally, Briston, Tenn.,
and James Connally, Dearing;
a sister, Sadie C. Strother,
Warrenton; brothers, Theron
Connally, Texas, Robert Connally,
Ariz.; four grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
Beggs Funeral Home,
Thomson, was in charge of
the arrangements.

Thomas, 60, of Wrens died
Thursday,
June 28,
2007, at
Glendale
Nursing
Home.
Mrs.
Thomas was
the daughter
of the late Charlie and Mamie
Andrews of Wrens.
She is preceded
in death by a daughter,
Stephanie L. Hannah, and a
sister, Sheila C. Andrews.
The funeral was July 3 at
3 p.m. at Wrens Chapel AME
Church with the Rev. Samuel
Thompkins officiating.
Burial
was in the Wrens Memorial
Garden Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband,
Stanley Terrell Thomas;
a son, Stanley C. Thomas;
sister, Janice Johnson, Wrens;
three brothers, Wallace (Carrie
Mae) Andrews, Wrens, Johnny
(Linda) Andrews, Atlanta, and
Calvin (Linda S.) Walker, Dallas,
Texas; two grandchildren;
and several other relatives.
Freeman Funeral Home
was in charge of the arrangements.
