Eleanor Slade "MeMama" Jordan
Mrs. Eleanor Slade "MeMama" Jordan, 91, of Bartow died Monday, Sept. 28, 2005.
Mrs. Jordan, a lifelong resident of Bartow, had retired from the Jefferson County School System. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, John Franklin Wren Chapter. She was a member of the Bartow Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and held district offices in Methodist Women.
The funeral was Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at Bartow United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Lovejoy officiating. Burial was in the Bartow Cemetery.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Hubert F. and Patsy Jordan Jr., Bartow; her daughter, Sarah Ann Fennell, Bartow; her grandchildren, Terry McKettrick, Donna Gilvin, Al Fennell Jr., Todd Jordan and Hubert Jordan III; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Bartow United Methodist Church, Bartow, GA 30413.

Lila Raskin Nadel
Mrs. Lila Raskin Nadel, 78, of Louisville died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005.
Mrs. Nadel was a native New Yorker and first generation American.
The funeral was Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at Temple Emau-El, Atlanta.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Nadel; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Laura Nadel, Peachtree City, and Marc and Sonia Nadel, Duluth; and eight grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Inez Irby Usry
Mrs. Inez Irby Usry of Thomson died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Usry, a native of Glascock County, lived most of her life in Thomson. She was the daughter of the late Lowe Irby and the late Susie Bales Usry. She was retired from Uniroyal Corporation. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She is predeceased by her daughters, Evelyn Usry and Ann Mathis.
The funeral was Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Baptist Cemetery in Glascock County.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Lewis Usry; daughters, Edna (Walter) Kennedy, Thomson and Linda (Ken) Bradley, Rex; sons, Kenneth L. (Kathy) Usry, Thomson, Dennis W. (Cheryl) Usry, Martinez, Tommy (Shelley) Usry, Evans, and Billy R. (Dinah) Usry, Union Point; a son-in-law, Roy Mathis, Griffin; brothers, J.T. Irby, Thomson, and Johnny Irby, Jonesboro; sisters, Mary Bishop, Jonesboro, Mattie Black, Gibson, and Lucille Edmonds, Bradenton, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were grandsons Keith Mathis, Michael Mathis, Walter Kennedy, Greg Honomichl, Chris Bradley, Brian Usry, Grant Usry, Eric Usry and John Usry.
