Irving C. Amerson
Mr. Irving C. Amerson, 76, of Wrens died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Mr. Amerson, a native of Jefferson County, worked and retired as a painter for auto paint and body shops in the area. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army.
Funeral services and burial were private.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Mae Amerson; two daughters, Jan Grice, Hephzibah, and Tammy Ryan, Wrens; one grandson, Andrew Ryan; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Augusta, was in charge of the arrangements.
Valerie Celeste Bell
Ms. Valerie Celeste Bell, 38, of Wadley died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital in Augusta.
The funeral was April 17 at noon at Taylor Funeral Home in Chicago, Ill. Burial was in Washington Memorial Gardens in Chicago.
Survivors include her children, PFC Antwan Bell, Korea, Alishia Bell, Felicia White, Quentin Bell, Michael Bell, Tasheena Bell, Keshon Bell, Jessica Bell, Keyon Bell and Jonyea Bell, all of Wadley; her siblings, Jamila Tiafa, Deborah Sharkey and Patricia Bell, all of Chicago, G. Alfred Bell, Sheboygen, Wisc., Alice Evans, Durham, NC, and Wanda Reeves, Tylerton, Miss.
Davis Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
