Graveside services were Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. at Stapleton Baptist Church Cemetery with Gerald Ethridge officiating.
Survivors include one sister Betty Sue Parish, Stapleton; one brother, Leonard Parish, Savannah; two nieces and one nephew and several great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Stapleton Baptist Church Building Fund, 360 Harvey Street, Stapleton, GA 30823.

Lena Mae Jackson Green Stone
Mrs. Lena Mae Jackson Green Stone of Wadley died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002.
The funeral was Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. at One Way to God Apostolic Church in Wadley with the Rev. Jessie Adams officiating.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mary Bell Green, Alma Best, Lena Mae Stevenson, Nicely Vining, Lou Ann Simpkins, Betty Jackson, Adele Brown and Dorothy Strowbridge, all of Wadley; four sons, Leroy Green and Ulysses Green of Wadley and Willie Green and Amos Green of Atlanta; one brother, Henry Jackson, Brunswick; 42 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Hudson Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Becky Wells, 58, of Wrens died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at the Medical College of Georgia.
The funeral was Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Gibson, with the Rev. Darrell Warthen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wise; two daughters, Angela Wise and Timika Wise, all of Wrens; a brother, Eugene Jackson of Jacksonville, Fla.; god brother and sister, Lofton (Beverly) Wright of Wrens; and two grandchildren.
