Mr. Arrington was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church. He was the son of the late William Norman and Rosa Arrington.
The funeral was July 29 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Emerson Proctor officiating. Burial was in Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Anna M. Arrington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were nephews Jeff Fennell, Ricky Fennell, David Smith, Gene Arrington, Ernest Arrington Jr. and Billy Arrington.
Geraldine Florence Connally
Mrs. Geraldine Florence Connally, 58, of Mitchell died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
Mrs. Connally was the owner and operator of Al's Quick Stop and Gerri's Pick-A-Flick. She was a native of Woodland, Wash., and had lived in Warren County for the past 24 years. She was a Methodist and a member of the Eastern Star.
A memorial service was held July 31 at 7 p.m. at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Hunter Connally; her mother, Florence F. Calvert, Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Chris Connally, Bristol, Tenn., and James Connally, Mitchell; one brother, Dennis Calvert, Wash.; three sisters, Dolly Eals, Chandler, Ariz., Nordi Warren, Salem, Ore., and Pat Valentine, Huntington, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
